Benedicts of Belfast
7-12 Bradbury Place
Belfast
County Antrim
BT7 1RQ
[t] 028 9059 1999
Another pub in the style set by the Bot in the early 90s. Benedicts does it rather well though with a multi-level outer ring set around a large bar in the middle.

Probibly the best thing I find about Benedicts is the remarkably short length of time it takes to get served. Even when it's packed.

I've never been to the resaurant but several associates of mine have and placed it as one of the best is Belfast.

If you're looking to stay in Belfast then Benedicts would be my first choice. Top class hotel in a convenient location with a built in top notch bar and restaurant to boot! What are you waiting for?!

I can't say i'm keen on the place - it attracts a lot of people who seem to enjoy picking fights! I've never saw so many bouncers at one bar!

Benedicts is located on the "Golden Mile " - full of
middle aged singles out to pull !! definately a cattle market and pick up joint shame as the decor is great. If you want to meet middle aged divorcees married men pretending to be single or one night stands then Benedicts is a must. Takes ages to get served at the bar and you can NEVER get a taxi home afterwards from this location - great for the midnight walkers !!

Benedicts used to be a great place. Great customers, great bar staff, great atmosphere. I spent many a night in it and really enjoyed myself. Now the door policy appears to be cream levis, Sovereign rings, big gold chains, Short sleeve Ben Sherman shirts, kickers or timberland boots and bum fluff moustaches. Not to mention the odd tattoo or twelve. For the ladies white high heel boots appear to be all the rage, coupled with industrial strength makeup application. Scary...

very nice...food in restaurant was excellent. Executive room was impressive, with big leather recliner armchair, jacuzzi bath and view over Bradbury Place.

This pub/club if you can call it that! was full of old biddies and was not much fun. I come from London and found that in Belfast you had more chance of been mugged. Especially by the old biddies coming out of your club pissed.!

Benedicts used to be great. A bar/ club were everyone was guaranteed over 18 (belfast rarity) and out for a laugh. Had many a great night!!

Recently however, it's been hijacked by the Sandy road crowd (ever since the Rangers supporter's club was burnt to the groung)....evident particulary with the new door men.

My advice -> There are plenty of good bars/ clubs in Belfast, spend your money elsewhere and feel safer doing so.

Benedicts has got the lot- a quality menu, regular music sessions, and an eclesiastical backdrop to rival St Annes Cathedral-the church doesn't do the brilliant selection of booze either, all in all a great sunday morning hair of the dog kinda place.
