| | The £5 million facility, based at Willsborough Industrial Estate, marks the next stage in the company's IR£100 million investment in their all-Ireland business strategy.
The investment is also expected to create over 70 direct jobs over the next five years.
The IDC will not only serve businesses across Ireland but, in a unique partnership with parent company Energis, it will be linked to a network of similar Data Centres across Europe, making nevada's facility in Ireland part of the largest network of Data Centres outside of the United States.
It will also be linked to nevada's hosting facility in New York.
With over 50,000 square feet of space, the IDC will provide a range of services for businesses across Ireland and beyond, including a comprehensive range of e-business and hosting solutions, an e-payment gateway and supplementary telephony and call centre options.
